AFRICAN CATFISH\/CLARIAS<\/h1><\/div>
The production of African catfish is becoming increasingly important as it represents a native alternative to Pangasius.<\/p>\n

Clarias\/African catfish can be bred quite successfully in Europe\u00a0 in recirculation systems and thermal water systems starting from 24 \u00b0C. African catfish are robust omnivores that allow for high stock densities.<\/p>\n

Above all, these fish are characterized by extremely fast growth. Another special feature of this catfish is that they can absorb oxygen directly from the air. FRY FEED<\/h2><\/div><\/div>[vc_column_text]The AQUA Start fry feed can be used for larvae of all fish species. High quality ingredients processed with low temperature extrusion guarantee success.<\/p>\n

The fry feed AQUA Start is available in many different sizes starting from 0,4 mm. The quality feed formulation with focus on\u00a0digestibility ensures a highly efficient feed for maximum survival rate of the fish.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][vc_column width=”1\/2″]

GROWER FEEDS<\/h2><\/div><\/div>[vc_column_text]We offer 2 kinds of feed for the African catfish\/Clarias, depending on whether the fish are kept in recirculating or flow through systems. Aqua Wels is used in recirculating systems, and Aqua Catfish is used in flow through systems.<\/p>\n

The two feeds mainly\u00a0differ in the digestibility of the components, Aqua Wels focuses\u00a0especially on low water pollution. In ideal conditions, FCR of well below 1 are\u00a0 feasible.
